Please pray for my son. I am very worried about him. He never gets sick, but he is running a very high fever and I haven't been able to get it down for two days now. He hurts all over, especially his head, has been asking for ice water all day and is having trouble breathing. I am going to sit up with him the rest of the night and if anything gets worse we are going in to the ER. I can't give him anymore fever meds till 1:00. I can't find my digital thermometer and the old one I have I don't trust , it says 102, but her sure feels hotter than that.
Thanks,

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
His Fever is what is Fighting OFF whatever is going on within him...I would not take the Temp down to far !!
Prayers that he is feeling Better by Mornings light !
It looks like you're in for a night and the ER may look real good if he continues with the high fever.
I will keep you and your son in my prayers my friend.
Gentle Hugs,
Dee
The cool compresses on his forehead and or eyes should lower it slowly and not give him a chill.
I hope he gets better soon. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I will keep praying for both of you, dear one. Hugs and love, sue
He loves to read, and reads at a hight school level. I tell you this because when I went in to check on him just now, he woke up and looked at me and said, "Have you got anything I can read? I haven't read anything now in almost 48 hours" Bless his heart, when he gets well we will probably be making a trip to Borders. :)
