Hypoglycemic Diet and Anxiety
http://www.livestrong.com/article/471251-hypoglycemic-diet-and-anxiety/
Periodically I will suddenly feel weak, get shakes, sweat, light headed, faint feeling. I eat something and it subsides. So I kinda figured it is hypoglycemia. It seems to fit the bill. It's happened for years.
I get fed up with doctors and I don't tell them every little thing. What's the doc going to tell me? Eat every 3 hours. Or push a pill.
I've had my thyroid checked and it's ok, don't have diabetes either.
I don't know if hypoglycemia is common among fibro sufferers. It wouldn't surprise me if it was.
I do have anxiety, depression. It's been going on for years.
Maybe we can message. Yeah?
Thanks for the articles, DaisyGirll.
You are welcome. My pleasure! :)
I the other thing about these hypoglycemic attacks is that I become super fatigued after them. So I try like crazy not to allow them to happen. I find eating smaller meals more frequently helps me. And I'm always keeping things in balance. But I do allow myself daily treats too.
I don't understand the entire Fibro/Hypoglycemia connection, though I do know many have it. Haven't been able to understand fully as to why.
Several years ago there was a post about fibro and it's link to Thyroid conditions. But like many other research studies and such they just don't pan out to any kind of reasoning.
