and it is One thing after another, after another after another after another after another........................................................................................................................................
HUH, I KNEW there was a reason I married a younger man!
I sure hope things get better for all of us.
I even told my brother I wanted to get rid of the cats because I don't have the energy to take care of them. He cleans the litter box now and I still feed them. Only reason I still feed them is I'm the one they come to when their dish is empty and they get right in my face and won't leave till I get up and feed them. I use to have one that new how to rip open the cat food bag if his dish was empty. I wish one of these would learn that trick.
Hugs
Every time I tell myself this is the last time I am going to put myself thru this and I forget and do it all over again.
Meditation, massage, reiki, acupuncture, Healing Touch, Guaifenisen, and Meripax and other energy work. I cannot work anylonger and I am the primary care giver for my husband who has Alzheimer's, Parkinsons, prostate cancer, aortic aneurysm, and congestive heart failure. I am up day and night and nap when I can and I do live in my pJ's most of the time.
Before my husband became so dependant, I could at least somedays get and get dressed and sit on the couch and look good and sometimes feel good and that was my goal for the day. Now it's a good day if I get my bra on before anybody comes. Hospice nurses, aides, volunteers, and a care giver assist. I've learned not to plan ahead. If you feel good, enjoy the day and don't do any work. Our cells are working 24/7/365 since Fibro's are always in a severe anxiety to panic state. What happens is our cells work so hard they go into rigor mortis and thus we are stff and canot move until the cell regenerates.
Learn to love yourself no matter what you do or can't do anymore. There is a site called Flylady that is a motivation site to help you clean house. You start with baby steps and only do one thing per day and for only 15 minutes, For Fibro's cut it in half or less. Do one minute if that is all you can do.
Sit on the Couch and Look Pretty all day long.and you will feel better about yourself. The more positive you can think the more energy yu will get. Know your limits and don't overdo it.
