Doesn't it feel good to wake up knowing you don't have to be anywhere right away? Or do something major early in the morning? sigh
It's bad enough if I have to be somewhere it means I have to wake up hrs before because it takes me so long to get ready and then I'm usually running late because I couldn't find half of my things (bag, keys, phone, sunglasses, sweater, forgot to take my meds, etc etc).
It's a bit breezy and cool for our weather so I woke up a little more stiffer today than usual.
I packed up 2 big bins yesterday and 1 flat long one. And then I called it quits. I will try my best to convince the hubster that we should go ahead and open the storage unit this weekend. I don't like all this mess laying around and bins everywhere.... I'm tripping on things, walking into stuff, etc, plus when we finally start painting the 1st floor, we are going to need it to be empty.
There's a gun show going on right now down town but my permit expired so I guess i can't get any. :(

How many doctos does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A. That depends on whether it has health insurance.
B. None. They just tell it to take two asprin and come round to the surgery later.
C. None. They only sign the death certificate and phone the mortuary.
D. None. They would diagnose depression and prescribe benzo diazapines.
E. Only one, but he has to have a nurse to tell him which end to screw in.
F. Three. One to find a bulb specialist, one to find a bulb installation specialist, and one to bill it all to Medicare.

As for tripping over everything well we all know I am graceful on the stairs and falling down 3 to the garage and yesterday I slammed my finger in a car door. FOOOGGGGY around here. LOL

I worked on our taxes today and am about 90% done. It was a pain to sit at the dining room table so long, but worth it to get so much done. Now to get a few more numbers from hubby and we are all ready for Thursday when I take everything in. Whew. I do not like tax time.
The rest of the day I watched old movies on TCM. We just ate crock pot supper....now I'm sitting like a lump.

Tomorrow we're having lunch with my son and DIL and then the four of us will go to a local winery for a tasting.
Sometimes I long for an uncommitted day, but mostly I think this is what living is about.
Super late check in here. Just kinda flopped around today. Just had time with us alone here. Kinda nice. Made homemade pizzas for dinner and now I'm just waiting for the kids to finish their tub time.
Slk...whoa..sorry that happened. Some days we're the windshield, others we're the bug. Hate those days.
Ida...way to go with the taxes! We still do the easy forms. Not a lot coming back this year. We've been messing around with our withholdings the past couple of years. Lesson learned. Try again this year.
Blue, hope you got some stuff packed away at the storage unit. I bet it'll be nice once it's out of the way. I suppose merging two households together recently brought in a lot of stuff.
