? gastric problems from spinal shots

I know alot of you have had spinal shots and I was wondering if anyone has had gastric problems from them. The last 2 shots I have had I have gotten really sick afterwards which indicates a pattern to me. I have long standing gastric problems - GERD, gastritis, esophagitis, and gastric dysmotility. I know what to avoid so as not to trigger these problems and take meds for them daily. Very sensitive stomach. The pain clinic nurse says no should not cause stomach problems - but I am not your normal patient.

Hydration will make your gastric problems go down.

Anxiety is often a trigger with mild dehydration, which increases the chance of a gastric episode due to the sudden increase in chemical levels.

My spinal shots were done in 2007 so I don't remember if it caused me problems. I probably wouldn't notice because I have IBS every day. Was there a steroid in the shot? That might trigger some problems. I had severe insomnia with the steroid.

Yes! The steroids can cause or aggravate GERD. Actually i'm finding out through first-hand experience that a lot of medications can increase stomach acid, like most pain and allergy medicine.

    I did the dumbest thing today.  I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds.  I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym.  What a dummy!

    Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job.  It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it.  Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown.  There was a full length mirror in the changing room.  I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like.  It was a reality check.
