my new pain doc recommended i start klonopin to ease the anxiety that my body is going thru. he said most FMS patince body are under so much stress that the body has anxiety, even if i don't worry or have panic attacks.

but i'm on gabapentin (anti seizure category) too... so is it safe to take em both? (since klonopin is an anti seizure category as well)

if you are on both, what side effects do you have?

how has it changed your status (as for as Fm symptoms)?

do you feel better? does it help you?

any advice?

i take depokate and klonopin .and they help alot. depokate is an anti seizure med and klonopin as you know is for anxiety..as far as i know its not a anti siezure med... but they help aot. so good luck.. marie

Hi Bluesun.
I take Gabapentin and Klonopin and have been taking for 5 years and I have not had any side-effects. I feel that it has helped my pain. I hope it helps you.
