I'm disappointed to hear that gabapentin isn't working for you. I was planning on talking with my dr about giving it a try because so much of my pain is burning pain too.
Talk with your dr about a dosage change. Individually, our symptoms are unique and so are our remedies. What works for one of us may not work for someone else.
It seems to take a stupid long time to find the combination that works best. I wish you speed on finding yours.

I still hurt every day, but I don't feel it's as bad as it was before I started the medication. But then again, I still have flares...so who knows.
AnnNY and IdaJoy, may I ask what amount you take per day? I'm wondering if my 1200mg per day is too low. The worst thing is, I've had no relief, but my weight has ballooned over the last couple months since trying this - 10 lbs in two months on a very short frame.
I hope it starts working for you.
