Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
For fatigue, I've found D-ribose to be of great help to me....its a natural substance our body makes, but we don't always have enough....I get mine at a local health food store....
Check out a sub-group we started, The Fibro Puzzle....lots of us have posted the stories of how our fibro started, what helps us, etc....go to the top of the page and click on Groups, and you should see it....
Hope some of this helps....welcome to the FM group, and jump right in!
HUGS from down south :)
welcome to the group. how are you taking this new dx?
take care
I had to have surgery after the auto accident and that seemed to trigger the Fibromyalgia. Before I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia I was showing signs of Migraine....the aura in the eyes with delayed headaches.
I've been prescribed the various pain meds for Fibro and was shocked at the quantity. I quickly learned to only take what I felt comfortable taking. If I took what they recommended, I'd probably be asleep on the floor and still be there for another 2 weeks. :)
