What have your doctors said about flu shots? What are your experiences? I am not getting a clear picture and what to do---our kids' pediatrician said he could go either way. Thoughts?
1) There are higher instances of people becoming hospitalized or dying of reactions to the vaccines than there are of people dying of the flu. We had a dear friend who had a flu shot and spent two months in a coma because of her reaction to it.
2) Among the possible causes of FMS is a liver dysfunction that prevents toxins from being removed from the body. We've noticed that if we're eating a lot of processed food or food laden with additives, we feel much worse health-wise. Most vaccines contain mercury, a very toxic heavy metal, even in fairly small doses. I don't want to add any more of a load on my liver than I have to - the couple times I did get a flu shot, I went into horrible flares that lasted about as long as the flu would have (in fact, with the achiness, I really thought I HAD caught the flu from the vaccine at the time).
