I have MRI's that show brain damage. One doctor told me that they have to list all the possible causes so doctors can follow-up and rule things out.
Did your doctor say anything about following up with another MRI in a year or two to see if there are any changes or anything new.
Hugs
When the numbness in my hands and feet got pretty severe my doc sent me for a MRI and My MRI showed some weird blob and they told me I'd had a stroke and sent me back to my neurologist. Then I had to go for 2 other kinds of Brain MRI's and they said the blob had grown in a 1 month period.
My neurologist said this had nothing to do with the numbness I was experiencing. He said it was a stroke but they were unable to identify when I had it. He also said that 1 in 300 of these types of blobs were brain tumors. So I got the impression they weren't sure it was a stroke at all.
I've heard a lot of people with CFS are showing up with lesions on the brain and I'm wondering if this is what it is.
I did a follow up MRI in December and the blob had no grown so I guess its steady for now.
We do need to know!!!!!!
