as some of you know i have been suffering from a long ibs flare w stomach pain and bloating. oh gosh, it wouldn't let up! and you know it wasn't helping the fibro either, cuz it left me feeling more tired and shitty. and so i started an herbal colon cleans about a week ago... besides, i had read somewhere that a colon cleans every 6 months can PREVENT COLON CANCER, help you feel better, and shed some inches off your stomach (for some)! not that i'm over weight, but i have been gaining some weight with all the holiday foods and i don't feel like spending money on more clothes.
so the colon cleans i chose is packed with fiber, detoxes the colon AND blood, plus i'm taking digestive enzymes, probiotics, and i liver cleanse with it. i guess you gotta find i brand you wanna try cuz everyone's body is different and reacts to things differently (just as you all probably know by now).
the 1st few days wasn't much different other than it was some less stomach pain. but 2 days ago i woke up and boy, did i have to crap! i got to the toilet as soon as i could and i felt like 20 lbs came out! sorry if too graphic. finally i came out of the bathroom and soon as i sat down for breakfast, i had to run back in the toilet. basically i went 4x that morning and each felt like 10 - 20 lbs came out! you would think after all that i would weigh less, right? so i stepped on the scale just to see... NOPE! i weigh the same. oh well. anyways, at least after all that i feel SO much better! FINALLY! and now a couple days later, i feel even better! no more stomach pain, no bloating, no ibs... i'm still on the cleanse for probably another week or so, so i'll keep you all informed by then how it all went.
but you should all read about what stays in your colon and stuff...gross! some of you probably get colonoscopies done so you might already know (i had one done back in 2002). but it's interesting to read about it and what cleanses can do for you. so i hope this helps you and wish me luck for the next week. lol. take care and God bless!

Nature's Secret "Super Cleans" ,
Gestazyme "Multi-Enzyme & Probiotic Formula" ,
and i use milk thistle for the liver cleanse
organic sounds good too
So glad you got the help you needed. I wrote down the brand you used in case I feel the need. Seems like the IBS is switching from the runs to being kinda plugged up. Well, if it doesn't get better, it's either the cleanse or inserting a cherry bomb.
I've thought about it a few times, but worried about the impact on the meds I take. Plus I have to book in for a colonoscopy soon anyways.
I have a pack that my daughter/hubby found when I was actually asking for diuretics for pms....but I have this packet..Im scared to try it...but..
if it helps the tummy go down, I would be willing to do this.

Jade - my tummy does feel flatter, not so swollen or bloated. it's pretty good! good luck with it if you try and remember, everyone is different and you may need to try a different brand.
