Another one was once when I made a pot of chili and instead of using chili powder, I used cloves. It tasted terrible. I have put my purse in the refrigerator, the milk under the bed. Yesterday, I put the TV remote on the telephone base. I guess I was trying to recharge it.
I locked myself out of the house and like a burgaler, found an open window to crawl in. Dogs barking like crazy!
I don't know how to turn the TV on because hubby has too much sh**t hooked up to it.
Instead of charging my phone, I tried charging the coffe pot.
This was today by the way. Glad no one was here.
Talk about fog..well this is the DX for that.
I have forgotten to brush my teeth, gone downstairs to leave for work without my shoes, forgotten the names of people I work with and see every day, the list is endless. It's good that I have a private office, because I do stupid shit all day and for the most part, no one sees. Then...on the other hand...
I went to the fax machine one day last week with some documents that I had taken from a file, and when I got back to my office, I couldn't find the file. I tore my office up looking for it. About an hour later, a co-worker brought it to me - she had found it beside the fax machine. I didn't even remember that I had taken it in there with me
I'm getting my own fax machine when I go back on the 5th of January. It's because my stuff is all confidential, but it's going to keep me from doing that particular stupid thing again as well.
I went and rang the doorbell because the car was parked outside and I thought Jon was home. When he didn't answer the door, I finally climbed the fence (I'm a grey-haired granny - glad it was dark LOL) and looked through the windows from the deck. I was scared by then - thinking he was lying in their dead or hurt - so I finally broke the back door window and let myself in - made a horrible mess and ruined the door.
He wasn't in there, so I called his cell phone. He was with my son on the way to pick up the rental car for the trip we were taking the next day, and I completely forgot Of course the reason this all happened is because I left the house without my keys and my cell phone, two things I should never be without!
Thankfully my dogs are very "vocal" when they need something. They will stand next to the water dish or the food dish and bark if I don't recognize that they are empty. I guess they've learned that Mommy can be spacey and they have to speak up for themselves!
Well, I knew I'd made a coffee when I got back into the kitchen, but do you think I could find it?????
Also, one day at work (a while ago) I noticed that I had on one black and one navy shoe.... how embarrassing!!!! The worst part - I didn't notice until nearly home time.... (what colour is red???)
I also went looking for my glasses one day, tore my house up. Now mind you I am blind without them and should have noticed how well I was actually seeing. It took about an hour for me to realize I was wearing them.
Poet, speaking of the food thing. I fed grain to the barn cats and cat food to the horses. Not good, horses are not meat eaters. But the cats loved the grain. It wasn't until the next feeding time that I realized what I had done. I would have been so ridiculed if hubby dearest had seen it first.
oh gosh... this stuff cracks me up so bad (trying to catch my breath)... and i'm so glad 'm on disability so i don't have to worry about wearing 2 different shoes or aunt flo making a public appearance! but ya, if i did work, i would be late every freakin day just trying to find the place! and that's if i even remember where i'm supposed to be driving to! most days, i don't even remember what day of the week it is, i would be so fired the 1st week, sleepin in on a Wednesday thinkin it's a Saturday. lol
gotta love this fibro fog...
