I had a medical emergency last Thursday and had to go to the ER. Long story short, I was supposed to be feeling better within 24 hours. It's been four days and I'm still in pain. I had called for my follow up appointment the next day but didn't get a call back, so I called again today, and they squeezed me in. Since I just moved to a new state, it's my first time to this doctor. I'm not going back. I told her about my pain and her response was basically to deal with it. She has back pain that wakes her up at night, too. Do you have the other complications I've tried to tell you about? Do you have ANY help or advice? I can't stop crying. I don't know what to do. I know my body is not well. I know one of the things that is going on could cause some serious problems if it's not resolved soon. And I got an answer of "take ibuprofen."
YES, my advice is see a new doc!!! I went thru 2 before finding a super GP. He really helps me with the meds I need without giving too many pain pills out. Flexeril has really helped me!! This is muscle relaxer. A good doc will help you. I am wishing you the best!!!
Heat is good, but maybe you could call your doc and ask for this med or another? A caring doc will help!!
