I don't get enough sleep and don't get the sleep that the body needs to make repairs that's part of my eye problems. Heart meds is another, High blood sugars, high blood pressure.
I keep several pairs of glasses around with different strengths.
hard lenses were really painful and I had to wear them for a few years. I'm glad that I did though when I was a kid. Anyways what I am wondering is, if something similar could be happening to you, just at a different age? also, if you're taking a lot of muscle relaxers, there is debate over some things like flexeril can cause muscle weakness including your eyes.
or it could be an age thing. you may want to look into taking omega 3s, they are good for your eyes, brain and heart and just generally a good thing to take.

You are exactly the age when I experienced the same issue with my eyes. I have read more than once that this happens to fibromyalgics. It certainly did in my case. At one point I was having to have a new prescription written for eyeglasses every 6 months. My eye doctor was concerned, but couldn't find a cause. I had a tiny little bit of fibro at the time and wasn't really even aware of it. 15 years later I was diagnosed with an awful case of the disease after having a severe attack of Epstein-Barr Virus. That is what put me on Social Security Disability and in a wheelchair for two years. My health has continued to fail in many ways over the years, but the eyesight thing was one of the first symptoms I experienced. I have no answer for you, only to say that I have read about this as well as experienced this myself.
I wish you well.

I'm about to start a change of my diet to hopefully help. I'm going to start juicing (carrots mainly to help my eyesight - hopefully), cutting out all cokes and artificially sweetened drinks, cut back on processed carbs and stop eating as many red meats.... I'm hoping this will eventually help.
You're all in my prayers.
Fast forward, my eyes have been hurting all day... My GLASSES have penny sized scratches in the middle so I'm constantly "looking over" the scratch marks! I tell ya! It only took me about 4 months to figure THAT one out!
Has anyone else had anything similar?
