He is very expensive - so be willing to shell out the dough if you want to try it.
I talked to them via several emails back and forth...
He has nothing written articles(peer review etc) about his methods. He doesnt teach this to any OTHER Drs. (Why not... if its helping so many people as he claims)legit Dr.s share their knowledge and treatments if they ARE really working.
You have to have many adjustments SEVERAL times a day( which you better believe he charges about 80 bucks a pop) so go and x's that several times a day. 5 days a week.
He also says he is THE ONLY Dr. that does anything like this treatment - NOT true...
there is "Atlas Profilax" and some others that are similar.
If you dont live in the Lake Tahoe area you will aslo need to pay for lodging in the nearby hotel/motel, meals etc you have think about.
Anyway... just a few things to think about- there are some very angry people who went to him- just google.
Im certainly not saying that this theory is completely wrong...and wouldnt help... c1 and c2 being out of place etc... but he is NOT the only one who does something like this and the people who I have looked into say they can help a person with just a FEW treatments... not 4 or 5 a DAY----
Also, the area he talks about "testing" is filled with a tangle of nerves and blood vessels. There is no way in hell you can put pressure on that area without SOME symptoms, whether you have chiro or not.
It seems to fall into the category of "if it seems to good to be true..." I'd be very careful about giving this guy my money - especially as insurance doesn't cover it, and I saw indications that he asks for the money up fromt at the beginning of the 8-10 week treatment. That way, if you go for a couple of weeks and don't think it's helping, he's already got your money, and when you walk away, he's going to say it's "your fault" that the treatments didn't work, because you didn't finish the 8-10 week course of treatment. And good luck getting a refund.
Of course they cant help anyone who wont do exactly what they expect.
Also, he IS a Chiropractor and wont teach ANYONE what he knows.
I asked his "assistant" why he doesnt share his "wonderful knowledge" and he said "well its due to liability reasons. I think thats BS because if that were the case... Drs wouldnt learn anything from each other!
I wonder if he really really wnated to help people as he says he does... wouldnt he be able to draw up some kind of legal paper mumbo jumbo that would protect him so to speak? Im sure he covers himself with legalities when he sees his patients for the first time... wouldnt it be fair to say that he has some kind of clause in his paperwork and needs a signature or two(for legal reasons) before he works on anybody? He would be worried that another Dr. would sue him for showing them the technique(s)he uses?
I dont believe it. He should just say that he doesnt want to split any profits that he is making off of these desperate people that come to him thinking they will be cured? Or even better off... whatever he claims he does for people.
Peace... like you said... alot of people that are touched in that area can start having alot of weird symptoms, pain etc...
Even if I am working on someone and I am not even on that very place but close to it...my client will start having pain, tingling etc...
That is what he calls... "the test" and if you start feeling these symptoms, pain etc...he will say... "I can help you." If you dont... then he says "well you may not have Fibro or you may not be feeling these symptoms right now ... but I can probably STILL help you in some way."
I heard him say this during his short videos that he has on his website. It shows him "testing" people while they lay on their backs (on a massage table) with his hands/fingers resting on their "occiput."
He stays like that for several minutes and asks them if they feel anything yet." Well this is highly suggestive... does the person THINK they are feeling something or do they perhaps not want to disappoint him? Do they think something is actually happening right then and they are actually "feeling" their "Fibro symptoms?" In the tapes he will ask people often if they are feeling anxiety - the anxiety that they would "normally" feel? OR "feeling depressed?"
I just believe that if he wanted to help all the Fibro people and he really had a GOOD treatment possibility, that he believed would help ( not cure, of course we know there is none)but truely help... he would shout it from the rooftops... and have at least ONE peer reviewed article on his methods. Thats all--
