Hi, I don't have any suggestions really but I want to wish you luck. You deserve to have some of your pain relieved and I hope they can help you out. I guess I would suggest writing down the things you want to ask about so you're prepared? although sometimes I've done that and still been rushed through.

I hope you get some help tomorrow. I take zanaflex at night for sleep. Basically it is a muscle relaxer. I have been known to take it and they stay up for awhile. When I get sleep I would head for bed but could not make it because my muscles were so relaxed. NEW RULE: Don't take zanaflex until you are in your bed. That rule per my husband! I had some very good pain relief from Savella but the side effects were terrible for me. I have heard others say they get good relief with it without experiencing the side effects I had.

I see my doctor my doctor tomorrow. I have been in terrible pain for the past couple weeks. I find it hard to even stand up and walk. I had some blood work done earlier this month and some test results came back not looking real good. Specifically, glucose and kidney function show I have more problems. Just what I needed. Hoping for some answers tomorrow and maybe some help controlling pain.

I will thing about you tomorrow TW and hope you get some relief. If you live near a teaching hospital they may have a clinic for fibro. In the beginning I went to a teaching hospital clinic just for fibro patients and got some excellent information and help.

Let's both hope for good doctor visits tomorrow. I am so sick of the pain. I'm almost ready for a wheelchair and morphine just to move around. Good luck. Kathy

Hi Carrie, I take a Soma at night and that has helped with my sleeping. The only thing wrong on my last blood work was my potassium. Should get results tomorrow since I've been taking potassium.

I will say a prayer, TW. Hopefully, with this new incident that you've had, the doctor will have something that they can provide you with for pain (samples?) or as you suggested, be able to send you somewhere for medication.
Typically the doctor does not file for you; but they need to give you a dx and "order" you out of work because you are unable to do your job due to the dx reason.
