ok, so today I go to doc to find out what is going on with this muscle/joint pain, I would imagine they will draw me for ra, I hope, but I just want to know what this is. I dont like doctors, it took me yrs to get diagnosed with endo, now I have chronic low back pain and take pain meds, so I will get "the look" from the doctor about that im sure. wish me luck.

Go in with the Attitude that you Want/Need Answers...Enough already...Precious Time, Money, Anxiety spent on this...Tell em what ya want Tests rub for...make SURE they have a Complete List of ALL Symptoms...even ones that may Seem unrelated..

Hope ya get some Answers...and some Real Help.

It was ok the doc was nice, they did all the standard blood tests for ra, then if thats normal she said we can talk fms. the blood draw was bad, poked me twice, and guess what I do for a living? blood drawing. So, i wait a week for results.

Hi Honor, sounds like you have a pretty right on doctor. Did you get "the look" for being on pain meds?
You know, we talk about not liking doctors, what's the first thing they do to us when we're born? Spank us! Yeah, that leaves a bad taste for docs!
And you're a vampire and they couldn't get a vein. Did you ask them if you could help? lol
I hope the tests show something for you to go on. I know this is so frustrating! But I'm glad you had a good experience with your doctor.

I didnt tell her I was a lab asst til towards the end, I didnt want to make her nervous!
I havent heard anything, yet... So if it isnt ra or lupus, is it fms?
no, she didnt say much about the pain meds Iam taking, I think it helps that I go to a pain clinic?
