I get double fog with RSD! Your description is close to the fog I live with. My memory is probably the most frustrating for me.
I've done a lot of research and had many drs back it up, we lose cognization skills and memory. Add fatigue and for some meds, it can be a wicked combo.
I'm on Topamax for my spasms, it alone causes fatigue in the eyes, body and mind. Think of that with the other symptoms of fibro. That is just one of the meds that I'm on. All of these meds have side effects.
I can feel like a walking zombie!
Ok numb mind and all, is your avi the fall of Rome? Kind of reminds me of how I feel LOL.

Rsimmons- your description was excellent.

Both of those could also be attributed to ADD so I'm never sure where they come from.

Hi nanceesie, I'm sincerely sorry that my avatar gives you the willeys. I've selected it because on a very personal level it depicts perfectly how I feel most of the time. I hope someday to feel differently, then I promise, I will change it.
LeePoe, oh my goodness you cracked me up! I needed that giggle. Thanks :-)
Hope this made some sense. Lol!
Take Care, Dawn
I get embarrassed as well. It troubles me how much it is effecting my ability to remember even the faces of people I have recently met nowadays.
And names. It's so bad that now even as I mentally repeat a persons name as I'm shaking their hand, by the time I release their hand I'm thinking: "Shoot! Who was that again." Dang!
