I do think those with FM tend to have many allergies to environmental substances, and foods.
I avoid processed foods (other than cheese, LOL) and that seems to help *lot*. So it's variable from person to person.

Just at a certain point, my body couldn't handle it anymore.
I do think that all the chemicals and processed foods added into our diet over the past 100 years or so must be contributing to
FM, Cancer, MS and many other illnesses.
It's amazing when you look back to the days before we had processed food and chemicals; the amount of changes in such a short
time have surely affected us all
Like Leo, I have found benefit to simply "cleaning up" my diet - eliminating processed foods, going organic whenever possible, and buying local whenever possible.
I was diagnosed with osteopenia a few months ago, so I've actually upped my dairy intake in order to increase my calcium intake, and there has been no change in my symptoms.
Standing is good for the bones, and I detest it, so there's the rub. I do take pilates once a week and walk daily. Which is hard for me to do, as I have pain when walking, I think it's radiated from my back to my hips and legs. Puppy likes the walks, too.l
