I would just reassure him that everything is ok and that you just wanted to laze around, or explain it to him just like you did to us, cause you worded it perfect. Good luck dear.
On weekends, we live in our pjs unless we need to go out for some reason. Before got sick, I used to hate staying in all weekend, I didn't sleep as much as hubby, and I found it frustrating. Now, I do it too and usually sleep more than he does.
I think we all need to do what our bodies ask sometimes. Is it possible your son is distressed about seeing his parents aging or so tired?
The thing is.. the weekends are no different than the non-weekends for me..... it doesn't have one iota to do with how I feel. That sucks. I want my energy back too. I'm sick to death of it. I've hunted down every new thing someone's told me is supposed to help.
Where's the friggin answer and why is it hiding from me?

Like you I only have an 18yr old son left at home and he never says anything about me and the PJs. However there is the occasion that he will mention things that happen at his friends homes and ask why we don't do things the same way. He is often not upset about it but curious I think.
At this point in my life if I choose to stay in jammies all day I do. LOL! I don't even try to justify it to those that question it. It feels good and I want to feel good!
but I am like you I don't really feel good till afternoon evening time. my family now lets me sleep in without to much trouble. unfortunately my husband is an early bird but is much more patience now and lets me sleep till 11or 12 if I'm really bad! hugzz
