Not at all for me. I have feelings of being too hot but that's my inner thermostat acting up. (Oh joy.) However, some meds acn, in the process of their absorption and elimination, cause temperature fluctuations---not usually but it does occasionally happen--- and the fact you're feeling it around the same time every day? Time to talk to the doc. Not all of our ills are FM, and this might be a signal of something else.

As for me, it's just bleeping pre-menopause. *sigh* My temperature is normal, but try telling ME that....

I don't think that's normal.

Why don't you make a daily record of it and show it to your doc.

Perhaps it could be Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME symptom.

I have had fibro for many years and usually my temp is 97.7 a little under. I thought I read our temps are a little lower then normal.

I would suggest you contact a dr or the rheumy that dxed your fibro.
Something is going on.

I'll just add my history here - not one to offer medical advice so you can perhaps draw some comparisons.

In December of 1982 (yes, 1982) I felt like I had the flu & I was sweating, freezing & burning all at once. Took my temp & it was 105.4. Went to the ER & was admitted to the hospital. Spend 5 days there with a high fever before it broke & since nothing else
was discovered I was released & told to monitor my temp.

Did so for the next 3 months & found (like Magicpill) that my normal was around 97.4. However in the fall of 1983 the fever problem came back & that time is lasted for 75 straight days. Like you it would primarily occur at the same time each day. Spend 29 straight days in the hospital with 3 extra days about a month later. Had over 125 different tests conducted on me & all were negative. In fact, when I was released that time the DX was FUO (Fever of Unknown Origin) & was both on a high aspirin dosage.

Things went pretty well until the spring of 1987 when the fever problem returned. Ran a fever for 60 straight days that time, of which I spent 11 days in the hospital. It was during that hospital stay that I started experiencing daily pain, which has continued now for over 27 years on a daily basis. Still no DX. One thing, for sure, I could tell the time of day back then by my temperature.

Several months later I was told I had Adult Still's Disease but that was changed by a rheumy to Fibro in 1994. Have had several doctors reconfirm the Fibro DX since then, but due to taking the wrong meds & such for so long I no longer can take any meds due to my chemical sensitivity. Can't even tolerate aspirin these days.

Therefore, it may or may not be possible to connect Fibro with fever issues, but it sure has played a major role in my situation.

Basically, as many of us know, anything seems to be possible with fibro except a way to cure those of us who do have it.

I get random fevers also for no known reason. They run up to just about 100 while my normal temp lies around 97.5.

Doctors don't seem to care unless I break that 100 mark.

But they are also a precursor to fatigue flares. At least I can curb the fever like feeling by taking some Advil or Tylenol. The fatigue is usually there for a few days. Still with random fevers.

Thank you so much for the replies. I will take all advice. Keeping the daily log of the fever is a great idea. Also the Still's disease is one that I've never researched. I'll do that today. I know fever feelings are common in MS but I don't have all the symptoms associated with that.

I do the same thing, but my temperature drops. So I look and feel feverish, but when you take the temp it is 95.3. A co-worker studying nursing tells me this is not possible, that I am "doing it wrong" because 95 is considered hypothermic and can start organ damage. But I fail to see how I can take my temp wrong with a digital thermometer :)
