I tried to read the petition but couldn't get it to come up. It seems it is something about suicide thoughts when quitting Cymbalta. I quit Cymbalta in three weeks. It was tough, but I was never suicidal. Can you give us more info about the petition.

I take Cymbalta now. I've never had any problems with it so far, and I've taken it for about 6 months. I would love what this is about, because I can't do without a antidepressant. bobo

I took cymbalta and omg let me tell you it was the worst med ive ever been on. I had the worst side affects that ive ever had on any med ive ever been on. Mind you i can take 2 vicodin at a time that doesnt do a thing for me, its like taking an advil or tylenol.

I had a severe bad reaction to Cymbalta WHILE i was on it,,,it seems alot of docs are so confident in that it will work they arent watching carefully enough, my doc acted like she didnt believe me when i told her what was happening, she said" but this should work, i cant believ that it isnt" she also stated that she had never heard of anyone having bad effects, YEAH RIGHT,,,possible side effects are listed on drug insert ....so if it never happened...why the warnings...she couldnt ansewr that one...and she is no longer my doc

My doctor said that Cymbalta is setting itself up to be the next "fibro" drug, like Lyrica. He said it hasn't received FDA approval but is working on it. The more drugs available, that specifically target fibro, the better.

I would be careful of any petition that wants money for you to sign. I'm sure they mean well, but you have to be careful just in case.

I'v been on and off cymbalta for 3 years now , no side effects and it helps when i take it. i even miss dosses now and then no problems i 20 mg. twice daily it just takes the edge off the depression but dosnt fix it. iv never heard of a petition that wants money for you to sign sounds fishy dosnt it?/

Glow, did we both see the same rheumo? I was excited to find a female rheumo, drove over an hour to see her, at my first visit i was so dissapointed. She gave me darvocet and cymbalta. Told me i didnt need vicodin, these 2 meds would work fine. After about a week i called explaining my side affects. She said give a few more days. The next week they were worse, called again, her rude nurse says, this med should work, we give this to all our fibro patients and it works wonders, u are not giving it enough time. I said look lady, i have now missed a week of work, am sick as hell but u r telling me to keep taking it? Ha, i never went back. When she told me that vicodin wasnt needed that just the darvocet would take care of the pain i shoulda ran then. Oh and she charged more than double what i pay now for just an office visit with my current rheumo.
