I also can't stand bad grammar, I'm forever correcting my kids and my husband - it's my pet peeve.
The toilet roll must ALWAYS come over the top.
I have my ears pierced but can't stand any other earrings apart from my sleepers (Why do I have them pierced then??)
And I'm also particular about my bed; it must be made before I get in it. Even if I make it up five minutes before I get in it, lo. And everything, sheets, spread or comforter, etc. must be color coordinated. Since I have 10 animals who think they have a right to my bed, I'm constantly changing it; usually once a day, sometimes more.
I talk to my animals AND they talk back.
I wear high heels around the house. And my PJs. Sometimes I go out into the yard dressed like that, but only in emergencies. Friends have accused me of going outside in my heels and underwear. NOT TRUE! All clothing looks like underwear lately. Don't you think?
I have gone to appointments in my PJs but always covered by a long coat. I usually wear boots on those days.
I NEVER leave the house without earrings and lipstick/balm.
Please tell me that some of this is NORMAL!!!
1) I MUST have all dollars in a stack all going in the same direction (left over from the days I was a teller, I think)
2) Hate it when someone reads the newspaper and doesn't put it back in the exact order it was in.
3)Always put my hangers in the closet in the same direction
4) Always have boxes in pantry and freezer with the label side out, so I can just glance and see what's in there
5)Smoke too many cigarettes
6)Don't like to go to bed early, but don't like getting up late either (I think this one has to do with the worst pain is when I first wake up)
7) Will scream at someone if the toothpaste is not capped and clean.
8) Will not tolerate hair in my sink (after hubby shaves, lol)
9)Must have the toilet seat down at all times, unless sitting on it.
10) bunches of other weird stuff, but I am a pack rat to boot, always save anything that I can, maybe, make something else with it later-cardboard, boxes, paper, plastic containers, and on and on the list goes.
Clerks who don't and don't know how to count change irritate me.
Poor grammar irritates me.
Rudeness including poor driving etiquette irritates me.
I always wear my favorite "Scotty" socks to all physical exams.
I, too, want my hangers in the same direction, and my clothes hanging together by type and color. (I think this is an example of "anal retentive")
I'm afraid of elevators and bridges, but deal with it.
I'm one of those silly ladies who buys cutesy outfits for her little dogs. Lo, and her big dogs!
After just coming out of the bathrom..
I have ANOTHER ONE!
Men are incapable of replacing the tiolet paper roll...at least mine is.
I can sit, blow my nose, do my business, AND PUT the new roll of TP on the spool, all at the same time! IMAGINE THAT, I am a Multi-Takser and didn't even know it!
I have a small sign in my bathroom above the spooler that say:
"Replacing the toilet paper roll WILL NOT cause brain damage."
But...I think my man is afraid it will, cuz he will start a new roll and place it ON TOP of the empty roll...
OK, Thats all I wanted to say...thats a pet peeve of mine, LOL!
