I am sharing this experience in case it helps anyone... A few weeks ago I decided that I could not wear shirts with collars because they made my upper back hurt/ burn. To be sure, this morning, after days of feeling really well, I wore a button down, one of those with stiff, no iron fabric and took a knit top with me to work. By noon I was desperate and had to change into the knit top. I immediately felt such relief! The ache/burning continued for an hour or so, but was gone by the end of the day.
So, the reason I am sharing this is because so many times we have flares and we don't know where they are coming from. You might wwant to think about the clothes you wear, their texture, purses you carry, earrings, necklaces, shoes, heels, little things....
Little things can make a big difference and once the body goes into a tantrum, it takes such a long time for it to soothe itself! I think of our bodies as terrible toddlers that will throw a tremendous fit and not be able to calm themselves down. What is worse I that one set of muscles cry out and the ones close by pick up the tune. Before you know it, the whole body is in an uproar and the original culprit, say an annoying shirt, is gone, but the results are still there because now the body is screaming because other parts are screaming. I would be on the lookout and at the slightest turn towards feeling worse, try to find what might be causing it.

Good day to all.So let me explain why we're discussing this today. The problem is, if your system gets too many (as in produces too many) it's a non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL) called Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia, and my husband was diagnosed in early 2018.Every monocloncal antibody or protein in your blood is essentially a blank, a slug, as they call coins that have been minted but not...

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...

at home clothes that I do for outside wear. Sorry, hope that made sense...for sure the little things make a difference. Thanks for sharing this
My thing since my fall is my lumbar spine. Even a tag or seam will set that off and there goes the rest of me.
Always worth keeping inventory. My rheumy once swore his wristwatch did it to him so he started using an antique pocket watch instead.
Leo, that spot in the middle, lower part of my back makes me want to scream.......
Thanks for sharing!
I have a downstairs full of business dress stuff that I no longer have to wear b/c I'm not working. I had to wear an outfit the other day to a funeral and noticed that it was scratchy and did make my legs ache.
Emily great thread. Thanks Tonsie
What do you think.? Are our bodies like an easy to spoil child that you have to be careful with, else it will throw a tantrum if it doesn't get the treat? And, once it tantrums, it has got us over a barrel. I mean, I will do anything to avoid that DEEP ACHE/BURN.
