I have recently been having bruises show up on the top of my feet, right at the base of the toes and then I had a long one on the side of my foot. They disappear in a few days, but are really painful while they are there. I know I am not hitting, bumping or doing anything else to cause this. I also have the balance thing going on as discussed earlier but not to the point of falling...yet. Anyone else have the bruising thing. I am not diabetic although I do have LOW blood sugar. Thanks in advance for any input.

Oops! I forgot to add, This bruising has followed very severe flares. Sorry I didn't get it all together! Darn Fog!

I can only tell you that I bruise EASILY but your skin may be getting affected by something or thinning out. You need to speak with your GP about this.

I have had bruises that come and go for a long time. I didn't hit or bump anything so didn't know what it was. I also bruise easy. I didn't know what it was, so I really haven't done anything about it.

Don't know about bruises, feet and flares, but I used to bruise easily from head to toe. My doctor told me to take Vit C, lots of it. It stopped. When it starts I go back on the Vit C. This work for me, but ask you doctor to make sure. It could be something he needs to know about and totally unrelated to FMS and serious.

Yes, I know about the bruises, they appear from no where, and look like deep, ugly, and painful. When this happens to me, my most severe seem to on my legs, and will tell summer seems to be the worst. Will wake up with them. To me it is just another of those darn fibro symptoms.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
