it feels like my boobs are swollen most the time and have lumps in them that are very very painful plus bruising everywhere in em. not to mention the bones and ligaments pain (in the breast area) that i think is fibro related pain.
not sure i any of my pain is similar to yours.....
for me the bone right in the middle of the chest (between the boobs) are one of the most painful ones.
and then there's my rib pain..... oh that's another story. each rib feels bruised all the time.
ok enough about me.........
i'm sorry abut your boob pain...... i get really frustrated with it so i can imagine how you feel about yours! hope things get better for you!
i'm on gabapentin, topamax, mobic. had tried cymbalta but that stuff made me sick. effexor worked great for my aches and pains but it later on raised my heart rate up too high so they took me off it.
other than that htey have me on a world of sleeping meds so that i can sleep through the pain and not toss and turn to get comfy from the aches. i alternate between 3 different sleeping meds right now.
and if you DO have fbrocystic breast disease.... well you would have to get dx 1st through the womens clinic..... the treatment is getting on hormones. the same hormones in a birth-control. i chose mirena. those hormones keep the lumps and swelling down to a minimum. i still get breast pain and swelling but not even close to the amount of horrible nightmare pain it used to be!
anyways...... i hope i have answered some wonders u may have had.... take care of your self
I get the tender sore breasts that last for a few weeks then goes away for a month. And I also get the area under the breasts that gets sore and tender, more like its in the rib cage.
This is what I Did to back it OFF..
I Alternated Warm & Cool Cloths...to Sooth the muscles, and to take down any inflammation in the Cartilage....I Rested that side ALOT...It started when I Bent over to put some dishes into the dishwasher...OMG !! felt like someone Stabbed me at first...then kinda settled into a Dull Ache, sometimes SHARP...Moved from my Sternum all the way around to my Left sided shoulderblade...over a course of days..
IF you can Take Ibuprofen OR Neproxen...that will help...I don't take either one anymore...causes me tummy troubles...sigh.
Hope it goes away for you Soon !
Hear it is Crappy, Rainy COLD up there today ! I will bee back Home Soon !
I believe this could be part of FM or MP but if you have not had it checked out by your doc. I would... just to be on the safe side of things.
