Anyone know of any books they would recommend on reading about Fibro. There are quite a few out there, but wondering what the best one or ones would be to read.

I don't know of any books but I found lots of info on MedicineNet.com. There were some good articles on research thst shows our pain is real etc. It probably listed some books too but due to "fog" I can't remember.

I turned to books when I first was diagnosed... (internet wasn't big yet!). I love a couple of books I got from the Arthritis Foundation. One is a workbook and another is living with FM. Another great book -- although it really gets into heavy medical jargon is "All about Fibromyalgia: A Guide for Patients and Their Families" by Daniel J. Wallace. Wallace is a respected writer and you can trust his advice. You know that some are shady! You can go to amazon.com and type in "Fibromyalgia" and search the books -- I find the reader comments/reviews helpful in deciding what to read. Good luck!

I just finished reading The Fibromyalgia Relief Book by Miryam Ehrlich Williamson. I thought it had some great info in it & an easy read. The Devin Starlanyl book Fibromyalgia & Chronic Myofascial Pain has lots of info, but I found it a little harder to comprehend. Also, Taking charge of Fibromyalgia by Julie Kelly is a very helpful book. Ebay is a great place to find lots of books as is Amazon.com. Good luck:)
