I have also tried low dose naltrexone as part of my regimen. I am actually thinking about getting back on it to see if it can help me get my sleep back in balance. I just listened to a presentation the other day where a doctor said some of his patients are using LDN in combo with high CBD medical marijuana and I want to try this combo. I have my medical marijuana and use cannabis oil as part of my regimen. I don't believe in using a monotherapy approach to treating fibromyalgia because it is a very complex disorder. When I used the low dose naltrexone, I used a combination of therapies along with it. I believe in using a multifaceted approach to treating fibro and combine many therapies such as diet, Aqua therapy, cannabis, vitamin d, supplements, herbs, massage, heat therapy, pacing, etc. One of the most important parts of my regimen is my diet. I follow a paleo diet and this helps me tremendously. Many of us with fibro have associated food allergies, candida overgrowth and leaky gut syndrome. If these conditions are not addressed it makes the bodies job of trying to heal itself more difficult. Many people have found improvement in their symptoms by removing foods that can trigger pain such as gluten, dairy, wheat, sugar etc., taking quality antifungals and repopulating the gut with healthy bacteria. I am one of those people. 70 percent of our immune systems lies within the gut and we must do everything to enhance it. Best Wishes to you.
