I went for an ultra sound last week due to post menopausal bleeding. Now I have to get a biopsy. I can't take any pain medication that will cause my blood to thin for two weeks prior to the surgery.

I went in the other day for the results, and there was a polyp which was removed during the procedure. That, and the scrapings they took were both benign. The doctor said they weren't cancerous or pre-cancerous, so I am perfectly fine!
Well, other than all this other stuff, but I have learned my lesson about some "magical thinking" I had been engaged in. I hadn't been to the gynecologist in the six years since being diagnosed with Fibro, Sleep Apnea, Chronic Fatigue, etc. I made a joke of it saying that I can't get anything else since I already had all this stuff. I went ahead and made the appointment for a mammogram for next week. My regular doctor asked if I had ever had a colonoscopy, and I told her I was waiting for this pill with a camera in it that I had just read about, and she let it drop there. I'm going to confess that I was joking and schedule that pretty soon as well.
