I am really researching LATEX foam mattress toppers. Can't afford a mattress, and the toppers can be 1/4 or less of the cheapest of mattresses. But I do want to get a good one that will be more than a simple egg crate style. I want only natural latex foam. I really do not like memory foam.

Think I found one to purchase.

I got a tempurpedic bed because it was supposed to be good for fibro. I now sleep in the guest room because the bed is so hard, I wake up in agony in the morning (that is, if I have slept). My husband likes the bed, so now we have separate bedrooms. Just what I need, further alienation from others...Whatever you do, don't shell out the bucks for an expensive mattress if you aren't sure it will work for you. Best of luck in your search. After we whittle our debt down, we want to get a sleep number bed. I know so many people who love theirs!

I have used commercial grade foam toppers for many years.I ordered them from a small factory,in Lapeer Mi.You can order different thicknes's and density.I now use them on guest beds.I agree with teeann,the temperpedic is way too firm and hard.I now have a Sealy mattress set.It has a regular mattress construction,and then a layer of foam about 2 inches thick for the pillow top..It was a little pricey, but is the best investment I have ever made.It is like sleeping on a cloud.

I bought mine at Costco.com that way they delivered. These things are HEAVY. I figured getting in and out of my car would be too hard on me.

I do love my topper. It made a huge difference on my pain as I sleep. You'll love yours.

I have a memory foam topper that I got at Costco. It makes a huge difference for me. I don't know if it's latex.

gkneez, I saw that Cosco offered one... is yours latex foam, not memory? How deep is it?

Aww, teeann, (to be honest, I wish I had an excuse for my own bedroom) I'm sorry to hear that. The tempurpedic is the memory foam isn't it? Yeah, I am really thinking the topper is the way to go, but I don't really have the bucks to screw up on that purchase either.

I use a latex mattress, and top it with cuddleewe, a kind of pure wool topper. It's very comfortable. A mattress specialist had counselled me a few years ago about this kind of mattress. I can recommend it.

i have a down topper and love except it loses the form. my husband fluffs and turns it for me since i dont have the stregnth to do it. i read a book about the cuddle ewe topper like abotsd said. im thinking of getting this for my chairs too.

My son, also, didn't want to spend the $ for latex mattresses in his guest room. He bought two Casper toppers, latex. Very comfortable. I do recommend it. Came quickly and cheaply.
