I am not bed-ridden, although I thought it might happen earlier this year. My blood sugar went crazy, I was so fatigued I could not make it through the day. I'm still not great, but the ribose and massive doses of vitamins are keeping me up right. In the past month, I've begun having heart palpitations. Finally, my doc sent me for a sleep study. That is next month, but my consultation with the sleek doc has convinced me that this worsening of symptoms is related to lack of sleep. Even though I think I "sleep" at night, it is not deep sleep. If you are feeling this bad, ask your primary for a referral to a sleep doc.

I was last year. I would get up to go to the bathroom and back to bed or I somedays I would barely make it to the couch. There was days that if I had to get up and go you could forget it,if I had a burgular they could take everthing and I wouldnt care. I wouldnt even eat on those days because it was to much to get up and even get an apple or a banana to eat. I started feeling better this summer and my muscles are so weak I could not even walk the mall. I was not strong enough. Im still working to get my muscles back. Its like they melted. I didnt do anything for a whole year but lay around. I was depressed and could not get the doctors to understand how bad I was. I hope you get to feeling better. I had alot of pain in my neck and back, I started the trigger point injections and thats what turned it around for me. I hope you can find something that will help you. Dont give in to it. Iv been there and I almost did. You have to fight it everyday you have to keep strong or it will over come you. I know beleive me I do. It was bad, People didnt understand, I had no energy, I could not take a shower I had to take baths because I would get to exhuasted taking a shower. When I took a bath I would have to rest after I got out of the bath before I could get dressed. My family took care of me, they got to the point they didnt know what to do. I found pleasure in pampering myself, I would enjoy silky pj's, my husband would buy me anything that would help me relax, bubble bath, bath salt, candles, comfy pillows. I WAS there until I got a job. I HAD to get up and it killed me. I cried going to work. It was torture. But after a while, the more I moved around, the more I could. This may sound cliche, but movement, no matter how painful, it is necessary. I believe the muscles can atrophy with too much rest. I had all the same things you have. I remember picking my leg up to move it to turn over in bed. I remember being so stiff that I couldn't straighten up at all. I now walk an average of 10 kms per weekend. It kills me sometimes, but I keep getting stronger and stronger. I've also discussed it with others on here who agree.

I am sorry that you are bedridden. Do not dispair. I wish you some relief soon.

Ya me too up to go pee..grap anything ready to go off Frig shelf & back to bed.
I have a full time job..being "BEDRIDDEN"
i would love to be able to work! but takes me hrs just to get out of bed! slide one foot & arm to edge of bed,, 10mins. later flip the rest of my body to try & sit up ect. ect.

even the cat & dog know my routen in the house

i have pj days 5 out of 7 days iam all by myself, so that makes a difference I don't have to get up for anyone, except to let the dog out three X aday! when i get up to to my routin!
the days i have doc appointments i try to schedule all on the same day cause iam so exhausted just getting dressed & then going out iam "BEDRIDDEN" for days most of the time sleeping! I always think i could die in this house & no one would know!

Im signed up w/a program thru Phyic Doc for visiting nurse & a avocate.... so she calls & try to get me out once awk! They have help me get alot of services! house cleaner/yard & bus comes & picks me up for anywhere i want to go!
I do force myself to get up every other week cause i sit for my Grand D she is 5yrs, she wants to do everything! I do have her trained to hop in bed w/me i have a drawer on both side of bed w/emergency health snack, verners & juices! her side has extra surprizes ea week! crayons books, toys ect.
when she goes to her dads ..I just run down like someone turned me off! crawling to the bath room, i'm "BEDRIDDEN" for days!

I missed the great weather Michigan had last week up to 80 & i could not get out of bed just lied here & looked out my window in bed!!!
Even tho it is a tearible sickness!...
it so good to hear i'm not alone or weird or "CRAZY"..

I also feel the certain Meds make it worse... I was on Somas for 6mo & was getting worse! so last week i stopped taking them & some of my crippling pain hands stopped! & i have not had any withdrawls.
I hear alot of you talking about "REMISSION" i have not had a break in 8yrs not!
I have gained alot of weight but then lost it, but it back again when gave me cmybolta & Lyrica & zyprexa! to many other drugs to list! Everything everyone else is taking!
