I've actually been accused of "not working with a sense of urgency" because I don't get all wound up about things even when I'm working on a deadline.

Anxious when symptoms started before I knew what they were? Yes!
Anxious now being treated with Cymbalta? No.
But then, that is my perception. I don't know what others would say who have known me all my life. I also think that over the years, before fibro, I "taught myself" to not be less anxious than was my general inclination.
However, with this fibro I find anxious thoughts hit me now and then. And I can't turn them off. And these anxious thoughts are usually over nothing! And I know that, but for some reason I can't turn them off. However, I am struggling with depression right now, and I believe this type of anxiety is somehow related to the depression. Maybe the combination of fibro and depression is causing this dumb anxiety in me? I don't know. I just want it gone. It interferes with my sleeping.
