We are all adults here.There will always be something that ppl abuse and that is there choice.But how and why the government got involved with the DRs. and pharmacies with our pain meds pisses me off.At least before i had some reliief, now i feel like an invalid in constant pain.Which is worse.

ya my doc has me on tramadol which does NOTHING AT ALL FOR PAIN! I asked if we could raise the dosage and she said 00% no! CAN WE TRY SOMETHING ELSE, 200% no!

well listen mrs. doc, why don't you live with my constant pain for just half a day and then we will see if you will give me some pain meds! You know who is to blame for all this don't ya, the idiots that abuse these meds and make it harder for all of us that need them to get them! Pisses me off too, to no end!

My sis abused every drug she could get her hands on , my neighbor used to sell her xanax and I knew so many people that would get more pills then they really needed from their doc and then sell the rest. I know people that are getting so many pain meds and brag about it. SCREW YOU PEOPLE!

No relief for us any time soon I am afraid :(

I know what you mean! Total BS. Medicine is not about compassion now that the gov. looks at RX's docs write.... ((hugs))

I agree! It is total BS that they can decide what we can take! How is that they know better than our doctors?! It pisses me off to no end!

I got put on a new med for my diabetes last month and my effing insurance company decided that when attempting to get if re-filled, it required pre-authorization! WTF...they filled it first time, with no problem but getting it re-filled requires a pre-auth??? Makes no sense to me!!!

Geesh, sorry I got a little worked up!

I agree they need to look at our records we are not abusers we are people in alot of pain with a condition and we need the help with these meds. Lisa

My clinic decided they will no longer treat pain patients. That leaves me hopeless when I run out of everything. They won't even prescribe Tramadol which is now a schedule 5 controlled substance. They couldn't care less that my records are clean and only have used one pharmacy. Now I'll be forced to go doctor and pain med shopping, just the thing they want to prevent.

If any of the powers that be had fibro for a day then they would be begging for pain meds that work. Our doctors know what we need and what works for us. Doctors should decide not some bureaucrat in a 3 piece suit that cares only about the bottom line.

It isn't fair Lisa... and everyone else. I would rather not be on the meds. It would be better for me. I hate feeling so damn tired and drowsy all the time. It sucks that unscrupulous people ruin it for those who are really in pain. It helps to heave a primary doctor who backs you up, and stands up for you when you need it. I had a bad experience with the nurse, at the back dr's office, who was rude to me and was writing me off. Told me to go get surgery. I don't need surgery. I told my primary dr. It helped that others had complained. He called their office, and told them he would send NO MORE PATIENTS to them if it didn't stop. The next visit was from another world. Find yourself a dr who you can be on the level with. I've know my primary for over 15 years. He's seen me fend off narcotics, and finally have to cave in. He knows I'm not a druggie... and will defend me if I need him to. You need back up!! I hope you can get what you need!!!!

Here's hoping for less pain for us all !
