Honestly, there isn't much it 'doesn't do'.
I've been taking Co-Q-10 as part of my regimen against Fibro too.
Lots of great information can be found when you enter your search word (Co-Q-10, L-Agarnine, etc) in the search box under the article section at ProHealth.com.
They suggest using Acetyl-Carnitine at 500 mg three times a day. The trial lasted for 10 weeks and was said to reduce body pain compared to those taking a sugar pill. Those taking 100mg of COQ10 three times a day were improved by 50% in the category of pain, physical function and mental alertness. They could not say how long this took because the evaluations were only done nine months after the start of the trial. I have deciced to try the Acetyl first and see what happens since results should be seen in ten weeks. Were you told to take both the COQ10 and the Acetyl together? Here' s hoping we both have good results. FM has really been hard on me as it is for all of us.
Thanks for your reply. Is L-agarnine the same as AcetylL-carnitine?
I wonder if Wonderbaby is thinking of Arginine.
Good luck. Report back if you have some noticable results.
