Since I have been here in East Texas, and In the Piney Woods, the Pollen has been HIGH...I am getting ALOT of Weird Fascial Pain..The Boney area around Both Eyes Feels HOT/Painfully Hot...I Know...Weird Huh ?? I Normally do Not have Allergy Symptoms to much..but have Never been Exposed to This Much...perhaps you are Reacting to Something ?
IDK Hon...Just Grasping at Straws here...if it does Not go away in a couple of days {Like MOST nerve Pain does}...then i would get in and get it Checked !!
Love, Hugs & Prayers that this Resolves for you Soon !! Did ur Rib Pain Subside ?
Cajun, could it be from TMJ? Have you had trouble with it in the past?
asilinc298 has a DS discussion about this at: http://www.dailystrength.org/c/Fibromyalgia/forum/9462647-ot-i-want-new
Pollen here is going crazy too, Dakota, so it may be sinus related.....it is a tad better than early this morning, but still painful.
U, I read that post on the trigeminal nerve....it is that same area, so maybe that is aggravated.....I dunno, but it sure is painful....Gonna try some heat on it, then ice, and see what happens.
Dakota, yea the ribs cleared up as mysteriously as they started hurting, just like you said....too weird, huh?
Thanks guys, and HUGS from down south :)
Glad the rib pain is gone - I have that "mysterious" symptom that comes and goes as well. I'm tracking mine to see if it's related to my hormonal cycles at all. I'm more or less finished with menopause but I find I still get moody once a month and eat everything that doesn't eat me (especially if it's chocolate!).
So...I'm tracking those symptoms along with the rib pain to see if they might be related.
But the Pain Comes and Goes...Can last a few Seconds-to several Minutes, goes away, comes back...I Apply a Cool Cloth...this helps to Settle that Nerve down, Reduce Spasms, Inflammation.
Idk IF thats what you have going on or Not..just thought TN when I read Ice Pic type Pain.
It's a little scary to have pain that close to the temple region.
If it's TMJ, moist heat will help soothe it. If it's an inflamed nerve then ice will soothe it.
Does it hurt when you make any funny faces? (just seeing if you would try it)
I do hope it goes away soon. I don't know how one can 'stretch' their facial muscles much....but I suggest eating lots of chocolate for starts. Maybe a big left over Chocolate Easter bunny!
Or possibly the swaying of your mouth and nose as you sniff some fine wine. I'm thinking after a bottle or two, the pain will sorta not be there. Kinda like magic.
Keeping you in my prayers hun.
LOL, Wonder, I like the chocolate and wine idea, and yes, it does hurt when I make funny faces! :)
HUGS from down south :)
