Really good information!
Threw that in to inspire people to go to the link you mentioned. : )
Judy THANKS!
Carrie maybe a lower dose would help avoid the problems you had with the vit d. Or can get lower dose and spread it out through the day. I took 4oo IU 3x;s a day. Now it is added into my calcium from the pharmacy.
If on supplements it is important to have the D levels checked periodically so keep in a proper range and does not get to high also.
Take care everyone

And a big question... make sure the scrip for the 50000 IU is D3! It may be D2.
Also, you can try taking a daily supplement instead of weekly. 5000 a day rather than 50, 000 all at once..
Reading on D consistently over the past couple of years, I am pretty well convinced of its efficacy in general. But I also believe we'd have to be working with a specialist like Dr. Cannell to really see a great effect, with measuring the blood and tweaking the supplementing dosage.
It was a friend from DS who encouraged getting vitamin D levels checked as many of us can be low in it and can make a difference in our health. She says there has been an improvement since she has got her levels higher, her lab results showed that she was extremely low in vitamin D.
I wish I could find a reliable herbalist to go to. The ones around here base things on the bio feedback machine, not on personal examination.
