Last December (so 8 Months ago) I started having this weird "muted" feeling in my hands and feet. I was sent to a Vascular doc, then a Rheumatologist, and then a Neurologist. Massive amounts of MONEY. All they could say is that I have Raynaud's disease and some unexplained neuropathy but not neuropathy thing. Gave me lyrica and said they can't do anything for me and goodbye! My neurologist said I am making it all up because he knows I have a mental illness. NOW it has spread and intensified. Now it is my fingers, toes, hands, feet, legs and arms and face. Turned into BURNING OMG and numbness and this dead feeling. I also have depression and IBS and psoriasis and a ton of other things. I don't know what to do next...I am confused on what is really going on...HELP?
that defenitly sounds like a nerve issue,
are you diabetic?
nueropathy is a common thing with diabetics.
but from what I read in a docs magazine & thought about before I read this,,,
is nueropathy & fibromyalgia have the same types of issues
with ppl, it's a nerve pain. both can hit parts of the body or all of it.
I think I will have to get a second opinion or something which is not easy to do with medicare.
This current neuro, he sent a letter to my Rheumy and Psychiatrist and Primary Care doc saying that I am making it all up in my head. My endocrinologist says that that is not true. It is real, we just have to figure it out. But I am afraid to go to any of my docs because of this. NOT FAIR!
