Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
I would suggest stretching/walking and massage to deal with the pain. I also use heat/muscle rubs. I take soma/trazadone for pain/sleep aids. Sorry u have fibro and hope u feel better soon.
If you can get a sleep study done that might help. Alot of us have sleep apnea along with problems with the stages of sleep. Also get vitamin levels checked alot of us are low in B,D, and magnesium.
Sending Prayers that you find something that works for you soon.
Hugs
A member here created a post titled Fibro Puzzle, where a lot of people shared their story. You can find this by looking at the bottom of the screen under General Topics, and in the blank search window, type: Fibro Puzzle, and then click on Search. I think you will find some good info here, plus get to know some of us a little better too.
It's nice to have you here. Please jump right on in!
WELCOME :)
I just started taking warm to hot baths in the morning and in the evening after staying at a hotel where there was a jacuzzi - and sitting in there every am and pm was AWESOME :) I sit in there for 15-20 minutes and it really loosens up or does something great with my muscles.
Take care and Hugs,
Eva

It's a road that I wish nobody had to go through, but you have a bunch of great people to lean on. We are here for your good and bad days and not to judge. We have all been throught testing and the off the wall diagnoses. I was told it was MS to for a while and now we have been getting a little closer and they say it FM. I have paid thousands of dollars in testing, hospitals, treatment, and now we are making a little progress. You can only take it one day at a time. That is what I am doing. I am very good at taking my meds on time too. Once the pain gets really bad it's hard to get it back under control. Good luck
