Head down to Pearl (take some pic, please) and enjoy yourself.
Then when you get a little tired head home. Grab your beach stuff and head down to watch the fireworks.
It'll be a long day down there and getting out of crowd when your tired is difficult.
So, just head out early and enjoy the nice fireworks with your sweetie wrapped around you!
What ever you do my dear...enjoy it!
hmm... (still thinking)... i guess i'll ask Matthew what he wants to do...
Since I'm NOT there and since it's just me and the furkids today and tonight, I have decided to drive over to get Chinese and sit on the floor (for as long as my body will allow) and play with the kids. Then watch movies.

i went to the beach for a swim in the afternoon. it was then after i came home tht i dyed my hair. i'll post some pics later. then mom and i made some baked garlic wings, mmm.... drank some beer and just hung out.
i was gonna walk down to the beach for the fire works but noticed that this 4th has been an odd one of mostly silence.... usually there are fire works going off the entire month of July here! but not this time... so i canceled even going down to the beach... there were a few that went off but not many at all. plus i felt so tired for some reason.
i figured that there were 2 reasons why it must be so quiet...
1. every one is broke thanks to the economy (and all the job layoffs) so no-one could afford to buy the fire works.
2. maybe they didn't set much off in case Kim Jong Il was gonna shoot some missiles our way despite he had turned the ship around
not sure which one it could be or maybe both... in the end around 10 last night i did hear some go off... but not much. i felt stupid and figured maybe i should have gone down to the water anyways.... oh well... maybe next year
happy birthday America!
what did everyone else do??
the dog & cat are still trembling!& glued to my legs
happy birthday but glad its over=poor guys that have PTSS i can't imgine how i would servive in a war zone!
"GOD" BLESS" OUR PEOPLE KEEPING US SAFE!
I went down to Pasadena and had lunch at In-n-Out - protein style.
If you don't know about In-n-Out, it's one of the coolest things in California.
Then I came home and watched 3 sanctioned fireworks shows from my backyard while keeping an eye on my self-entitled neighbor's un-sanctioned, drunken idiot-run, totally illegal, pyro-fest. (lots of bottle rockets and Roman Candles in the dry desert wind)
No fires this year but we watered the day before and had the hoses primed just in case.
