Anyone who has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia also have spinal stenosis and/or protruding/bulging discs? I feel that some of these issues may be playing an important part in at least the pain aspect of my fibromyalgia. Thank you.

Yes...I have both....stenosis in my neck and bulging disc in lower back. I know it contributes to part of my pain, but not all of it.

The way I had fibro explained to me by my rheumy is that fibro just makes our aches and pains more intense. I would think just your bulging discs and stenosis would cause alot of pain.

I guess thats why fibro is a mystery.

I have inflammatory arthritis in my spineand the so joints. I have horrible lower back pain and leg pain. My neck and hands are bad. On top of other things.

My doctor thinks there's something more with the spine that's causing nerve problems and pain in my hands feet arms and legs but insurance wont let me have an MRI.

I have pain everywhere, but there are so many different types of it even the same part of the body has many different kinds of pain and I can tell them all apart.

My doctor also thinks a lot of the pain comes from spinal issues.

yes, have same issues as you. I believe the fibro makes it feel worse
