I am also hypoglycemic, have been since my 20's and I am in my 50's now. I always ate high protein until I found that can cause cancer and other issues so now I am trying to follow a whole food diet. Basically it means I do not eat anything that is dead. Only produce, a lot of salad and beans for protein. You would be surprised at how much protein you can get from different kinds of legumes.
Anyway, thank you for answering me.
Good luck to you guys with this journey. It is not fun and there is always something new to learn.

Fatigue at Unusual times does Not mean Lay Down and Take a Nap..it usually Means Something is Out of Balance..get that Figured out, and the Need to Nap may Soon Disappear. YeaY !!
