What is a sx? I thought when I read the title that you woke up with a new sex. Sorry.

Didn't you ask this question before? Some of us were worried that it might be signs of MS. Have you seen a neuro?

I wake up every morning now with no feeling in my arms and hands it is very scary. Sometimes the feeling doesn't come back for hours and some times it comes back shortly after I wake.

I feel for you..my gosh..this illness waxes and wanes and scares the crud out of us.
My hands and feet are tingly and fall asleep easy too.....
I also get horrific burning inside them. I have had it on my face too...Now it is in my feet! and my feet feel cold and numb at times.

I dunno. It seems lymes and fibro are the same....I just don't know which is which. Both the same symptoms and reactions..........

Hang in there...we will figure all of this out somehow collectively!

Prob should check with docs on that one... could be something that needs addressing like Bells Palsy or such. It could be a problem in your cervical spine... I hope you get answers. Don't ever just chalk it all up to FM or anything like that!

I haven't had anything like this....I think I'd agree with Narey, and talk to my doc about it.

I did get a chuckle, but still worried about you.

I get numbness in one cheek. But, it started before the fibro. I had orbital decompression surgery because of graves disease. They went in through my sinuses and under my eyes and broke away bone from around my eyes and upper cheeks to allow my eyes to go back in place as they had been protruding. A year after the surgery I had an awful blockage in my left sinus passage and had to have it surgically removed. After that surgery I started to get the numbness. It seems to come and go with no rhyme or reason. Now my hands and feel are another story, they tingle and feel hot and cold at the same time when I am on my feet too long or have to stand in one place for even just a minute.

I get numbness around my lips and around my nose on my left side. I've had it for years. When I first got it, I also started having hard time getting my words out and chest pains, as well as horrible fatigue. It all started around the same time, maybe inside a week. I actually slept for two days streight, more like a daze, though than real sleep. When I got up, I crawled to see my doc, he did EKG, other stuff, said maybe a tia, my bp was real high. He put me on aspirin, bp pill and said to watch it, get plenty of rest.
That was back when I had no clue as to what fibro was, and before I started looking at all my symptoms together instead of as seperate symptoms.
Sorry for this long story. Anyway, I have the numbness in my face a lot, but that said, since everyone is different it may be something other than fibro for you.

Since I've been told it was fibro, even before being diagnosed with it officially, I've been blaming everything on it, all the new, weird symptoms. I know that is a bad thing to do, but I am just so sick and tired of all of this and doctors and being treated like a nut sometimes, that it's just easier that way for me. I hope noone else does that. LOL
BTW, like youdontlooksick, I thought it had something to do with sex, too, and almost skipped the post. (been out of circulation for too long to have anything to contribute in that area)LOL
