Several weeks ago I got in this rut where I didn't feel like chatting. Then my father-in-law got worse so I told my husband I didn't want his step mother to be alone when his father past so we stayed with her. I bet there was over 50 people at his little home down in a hollow by the river in the mountain, when he past away. If there is such a thing as a beautiful passing this was is it. Then we stayed with his step mother for another 4 nights. Came home and my little Festus chew my phone cords up so I couldn't get on line or another couple of days.
But I'm back ! I noticed afew new comers, sorry for the reason your here but glad your here.

Nice to see you back, TW. My sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your father-in-law. How sweet that you were all there for him, and then also for his wife.

I guess Festus just missed everyone, so he got a little naughty and chewed the cords in frustration... oi, puppies!

I had been looking for your postings and I had not seen them. I had been thinking about you and wondering if you were all right. So glad to see your post, but sorry for the circumstances that kept you away. You did the right thing- even though it was probably stressful for you. I know your presence was appreciated and it was so thoughtful of you to be there for them. I like the way you worded where they lived as it sounds so pretty. Hoping you are doing ok and will get good results from your dr visits if I remember correctly you had a couple of apt with specialists. Welcome back- you were missed.

Welcome back TW .. sorry about the loss of your FIL

I think that was really kind that you were so thoughtful of your MIL not being alone and were able to spend a few xtra days with her before leaving.

Glad your back online again. Festus was probably getting lonesome and was trying to call you = ) to let you know he missed you.

How wonderful that you have that relationship - that you were all there together. I'm sorry for your loss, but it does sound like the best possible circumstances and a loving, supportive family.
