I live with my mom and her boyfriend. They both drink regularly and for years I have been putting up with the back lash of many of their drunken states. I won't go into details as it upsets me but when I was younger it was both mental and physical and now it's just mental. It their anyone else out there going through the same that would like to chat

I'm so sorry for what you've experienced with their drunken states, beth, no need to go in to details at this time, we can all imagine the harshness of it all. I can tell you that making the choice to come in for support is a wise one. I can't say that I'm going through the same thing as what you tell of, but I do understand how this behavior with them is disappointing for you.
