ok i am 44, my real father abandoned my mother and i before i turned 1 there was alot of crap that went out after that fro about 5 or 7 years from him saying he was gonna kidnap me, to fights to see me, i live in Pennsylvania have since birth, he moved from here to texas after he left.
long story short, i had soem issues in my teens and i met my father, for the first time, while in the hospital, he tried to buy my love and affection by giving me all kinds of stuff a giant boom box, (dating myself) the biggest tackle box i had ever seen for fishing filled with everything you need to fish ever. among other things. he wanted me to come down to tx for a couple weeks in the summer but i did not want to at the time he wanted me to come down due to stuff going on around home. i said i could come a couple weeks later, anyhow he disappeared after that. again through the power of the computer in the 90's i found him again, we talked a little over yahoo or aol messenger dont remember which but then agaqni poof he left. found him again about 3 years ago on fb, he now is in florida, anyhow we talked quite a bit, but he dodges alot never wants to hear about my past he tells me of his all the time. that really bothers me, why does he doit? anyhow I gave him the brush off this time. and i left the relationship if thats what you wanna call it. now for my question, my life now is hectic an iget frustrated with how things are, so one day i began to type something to send to him and i just started typing, next thing i knew i had 14 pages and i wasnt done. yet, i have his email the question is do i send it and close thzt c hapter in my life forever or do i just forget himi and move forward.

I have a similar situaion and I sent a letter to my father and I did nnt get the response I was hoping for.(it broke mu heart). I just pored out my soul to you and all you can say is I was too young to understand!! (I was 33)
If you just want your feeling heard than I would send it, if you are hoping things will change (like I was) make sure you understnad that they most likely will not and prepare yourself.
Also, if you have his adddress I would send it my mail not email
