I have been thinking about how my mother never kissed me, hugged me or told me she loved me. Even when I got older and told her I loved
She would never say a word. I can't help but think what makes a person that way. I am sure she has some kind of mental condition.My mother has lots of problems with forgiveness and hate. I really wonder if she
had lost her faith ion God. It is unbelievable the things so has done to people with no remorse.
Any ideas>

Nothing new. Neither of my parents ever kissed me or said they loved me. Dad loved the bottle;mom loved her brother.

AnnaMarie. That is a really tough way to grow up. I hope you are able to find love with others. I think you're right about your Mom possibly needing therapy. Try to forgive her - if not for her sake, then for yours. None of that was your fault and you deserve much, much better. big hugs!

I worked on forgiving my mother for the last 5 years. I had to accept that I couldn't change the situation. Not long ago I woke up at peace. I am finally at peace. It feels great. It was a lot of hard work but it was also a very powerful learning experience.
Never give up. It gets better. I am thankful for a loving God that helped me find the people and tools to heal.

This is just exactly how my mum is too, Never supportive always controlling.
