I'm not sure what else to do. It's been going on for three years now. My dad never seems to be happy and dragging all the mistakes and issues that happened with my siblings and parents after moving..3years ago. It didn't work out. Me and my older sister moved back to our hometown after half a year. We were in our early twenties and felt obligated to move with my parents as we didn't have any financial stability. My mom came back too because my youngest sister had health issues as well as issues with her graduating on time because of the move. We all ended back in our hometown with struggle and back at our house but I made my way into a full time job with the state and transferring my credits to an undergrad program at university which I'm finishing up. My younger sister ruined her situation. After graduating HS she let herself go off track stopped attending her college during her first semester starting seeing this boy who ended up in jail and just acting like a street person. My parents helped her with so much but she felt entitled to having them buy her a car for her transportation to college. My mother payed for my sisters schooling. She was irresponsibly driving got into two accidents raised their insurance. Dropping out my mom had to pick up the tab that was owed from her taking out a loan but not completing her first semester. There have always been arguments because of her behavior and never being sorry or learning from her mistakes. It's ridiculous. After a year my younger sister finally left the house after her bf went to jail. Staying with his family. It was betrayal to my parents I can understand how upset and hurt they were after everything they did for her. It was traumatic for me to experience my mothers pain seeing my sister doing this to herself. Now she has a job but is still struggling as she had to learn the hard way paying for an apartment in her own my mom has to give her rides to her job everyday. My dad thinking she changed helped her again with another car...which he had to spend time fixing but with her hostility and impatience she didn't allow him the opportunity to do so..it just created more anger and stress with my parents because once again they tried helping her out. Now my dad takes his frusteration about EVERYTHING on my mom and I. I treat my parents with respect. Being the only one in the house left because them coming back to help us became financially straining and we have jobs here now it's difficult to just come and leave...I told them to stay down where they moved because I did not trust my sister because of how I knew her to be and them coming up here to help her but they didn't listen and that's exactly what happened. My mom feels guilty because she was trying to do what she thought was best for my sister and feels it ruined her marriage because my dad just is upset all the time. She had a serious condition and didn't even bother going to her appointments despite the fact my mom MOVED back and sacrificed so much for her. So after everything I am stuck with my parents. I am responsible and focus on my job and school. Personally I am happy with myself and my efforts and I am also doing this for them too. I want to make them proud and happy that at least one of their daughters honored them and I just want to give back to them.. my dad won't even give me a chance. He threatens to leave that we all let him down. He brings up everything he did for the family such as his hard work to silly things like making sure there were fire alarms in every room! Like yes you worked hard to give us everything and you don't understand why your be daughter decided to lower her standards and adopt that street person lifestyle but I'm still here and I care!! Why is that not enough. He lumps whatever it is that my sisters have down because they gave them such a hard time and drama and just puts it on me. I never say anything disrespectful I have told him countless times how his words and hurtful because I am trying for them. I'm not doing anything wrong to them. He's upset that we didn't appreciate the house he got when we moved it was for us to seize that opportunity. Now they're struggling paying our mortgage but I am helping them. It's not my fault I was not ready to go! I am happy where I am now and plan to stay in this state. He hates our neighborhood because our neighbors gave him a hard time hates our state because of the taxes It's like he just takes the worlds issues and finds a way to blame us for it. He's upset that my mom came her for my sister and she is still coming to our door with drama and her attitudes. He wants to disappear and not deal with anyone anymore. I think it's so unfair. My mom and I had to deal with this betrayal and pain as well and he threatens to leave us so we don't have to deal with him anymore is upsetting. I told him that he complains too much and it's not fair because we don't. We try to make the most of the situation and move ahead in life. He said he will fix it by going away once he is better(he's on medical leave) and we won't have to worry about him again or hear his complaints. It's been a year of this instability and I try to not let it get to me..I feel it's my fault for not spending more quality time doing things with my parents outside the house to bring us together but I'm so caught up with school and work for the past 2 years. I feel it won't work anyways but I'm just so upset I don't know what else to try. It's like he finds anything to get upset about! Like he has no help with his projects of fixing cars. We don't know how to do that and it doesn't interest me! I'm too busy with other things.Me and my mom are tired of hearing him go off about moving to a trailer home alone with no one to bother him. We are his family he can't just leave like that. I don't understand anymore.

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
First you aren't responsible for your parents, their behaviour or your sister.... You are their child.... You aren't the parent in this
If you're able to you might want to look into renting a room on your own somewhere to get yourself out of the drama that I believe you parents in a big part created from what I'm reading
They rewarded your sisters bad behaviour over and over again and that can be crippling to a young person.... From what I'm reading this is what's been happening..... She doesn't know how to stand on her own two feet because she's constantly having someone rescue her and it's caused a lot of damage
I'm sure it's also done a lot of damage to her self esteem.... She can't feel good about the person that she is right now and it's awful not to like yourself
They need to say no more IMHO and mean it.... If they can help her out with some therapy or counselling or perhaps a life coach that would be wonderful but other then that it's time for her to grow up
She should be getting herself to work whether it be by a car that she can pay for or a bus again IMHO
You read like an amazing young woman.... I'm sorry that there's so much chaos in your life right now..... When you are able I would move on..... They are all making these choices and you don't have to
As soulsearcher wrote 'it's probably best to leave and love them from afar'
I know that it's hard..... Big hug and a blessing.....xo
I came on here to write about my daughter and I don't know where to start, but I read your post first and it has kind of taken my mind off it for a while! I wish you all the best. Keep us informed.
