I brought my friend to home and my mom is jealous

I brought a childhood friend to my home because she needed a place with her baby, I asked my parents if we can help and they said yes. My friend and my dad have now a good friendship they talk and text and everything and my mom doesn't liked it, my dad assured me that nothing is happening and now since she is in home there are fights and I don't want her to leave because of the baby, I don't know how to tell her to stop talking to my dad so my parents relationship wouldn't break (they almost separate for this situation) what should I do? My dad says that he just treat her like a daughter, I don't know what to do and how to tell my dad and my friend

This is sort of odd really......She's a grown woman and texting a married man regularly and talking all the time really isn't appropriate at all

For your dad to say that he's treating her like a daughter again she's a grown woman and doesn't need your father to be 'daddy'... He isn't her father and she's come into your home as an adult female ... This is your mom's home... her household

It's probably best if she has an exit plan for the near future and I would talk to your friend about this not being appropriate ... You father should be listening to your mom if this is making her unhappy ....

Big hug... I get that it's awkward for you.... and that this is your good friend however both your friend and your dad need to show respect for your mom if this is disturbing to her.... If this is hurting your family she should probably leave sooner than later.... xo

Hi- I'm sorry that you are going through this. Talk to your friend and explain the situation. Encourage her to talk to your Mom if she needs advice or anything and not to your Dad. If she is your real friend, she will understand you.

Your Dad told you that he is treating her like a daughter. I think you need to talk to your friend as soon as you can to prevent the situation from getting worse. Please keep us posted. I hope things will be fine. Praying for you. God bless.

Just be honest and kind but tell this friend to stop texting daddy. I am surprised your friend doesn’t find daddy creepy for texting her so much! Your friend needs to find attention from anyone other than your dad. If my husband was texting a lot with a young woman, I would wonder. So I can see why your mother is upset. Two people being inappropriate and both shrugging their shoulders and gaslighting your mom. Why does he need to text with her when he sees her in the house? And why does your friend repay your mom’s kindness, hospitality and help by creating the problem? But your dad is majorly at fault. It sounds like he is trying to upset your mom. People who are having an affair usually lie about it.

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
