I am 27! I have 2 beautiful Kids! I am going to register for college in the AM! I've had several family members be excited and then there are the Why wait so late, you should be working, you need to come back to reality! My aniexty is at an all time hugh anyways and to top it off it has been CRAZY HECTIC!!!!! One Mississippi is what i keep telling myself!! What do i do? I am damned if i do and damned if i dont!!!!

first off you are NEVER too old to go back to school And at 27, why do they think you are too old? There are people in their 50s or later who enroll in college. I say go for it! You are not damned if you do or don't. You follow your dream. Keep the people who support you close and ignore those who can't stand behind you in this very joyous and important decision. GO FOR IT! I bet your kids are proud of you. (if they are too young to understand now, they will as they get old and you will set a wonderful example for them) Hugs!

Thank you! My oldest is 11 and she is so excited for me! My son is 6 and he is the same way! I want a better life for my babies! They are my world! I truly believe some of my family likes to see me where I am struggling!! I'm going all the way!!! Thank you for your positivity!!!

Maybe they're thinking of how are the kids being supported?..... Not sure..... I agree that education is so important and having a job that you like is really gratifying .... If you can manage it financially I think it's great!!... If not you can always go back part time it will just take a little longer but you'll still get where you want to be.... Big hug.....xo

My grandma didn't go to college til she was 39. Went through nursing school and became a nurse. Worked as an RN in trauma in the OR for 23 years. She had two daughters at the time she began college and was in a new relationship after a messy divorce. She became disabled out of her career in her early 60s... So grandma kicks ass and goes back to school getting another degree in psychology. Now she is a CNA instructor, and looking into making it into a full time career to instruct future RN nurses. You're never to old. She's nearly 70 now!

As for late in the year, there is no such thing. If you want to go you will find a way to make it work. I did. I was going to drop out of college. I decided come hell or high water I need to finish registered for classes 4 days before they began regardless of my unsupportive family. Got my music degree and teach private lessons now. Family doesn't hardly know what is best, do what you need to do! Good luck!

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
