I invited my mom to one of the parties that my daughter had. I initially thought that this time my mom may not make a scene, and would remain polite and respectful. Unfortunately,  I had had high expectations from my mom. She  stared at me with so much anger and hate,  in front of my daughters teacher, the parents and the kids. She then, began to raise her voice, and speak to a parent she never even spoke to just to damage my reputation. She began telling this woman, " you see my daughter she doesnt  let me see my granddaughter, she is this and that. Then before I knew it I saw tears rolling down her eyes like she was the victim and I was the victimizer. At the end of the day, I regretted inviting her, a have no intention of inviting her again. I called uber the other day, because we were traveling out of town and the driver happened to be a  Spanish man. I askes her to ait in the front so i could sit with my daughter in the back seat. And what did she say "maybe your intersted im this man,let me see if he is single. I also believe she said "maybe you want to sleep with him." I remained calm and collective but i dont deserve this emotional abuse from her. It is a lose lose situation with her and I have no idea what to do for her except distance myself from her as much as I can.
